sonnet 1 (unfinished..)

a wilting rose will always have an end,
and even if it will drink every day,
the petals will fall and the stem will bend.
to keep it alive, think of what to say,
sweet talk it up until the morning comes;
be rid of all the hurting thorns that might
destroy the vibe brought by his lasting hums
and leave her no choice but just to take flight;

*author's note: an english sonnet is supposed to end with a rhyming couplet solution.
i guess the problem here is i dont know what my solution is yet.

Its lack of completion
completes it.
